A nonprofit helpline for life online

When the internet hurts, you don't have to face it alone.

We're a small team of advocates, lawyers and technologists helping people targeted by harassment, scams and image abuse online — free, confidential, and human.

In immediate danger? Call your local emergency number first.

What we do

Help that meets the harm where it happens.

Online harm comes in many shapes. We support people through the most common — and the most isolating.

Harassment & abuse

Stalking, threats, pile-ons and coordinated attacks across platforms.

Image-based abuse

Non-consensual intimate images, deepfakes and sextortion.

Scams & fraud

Romance scams, investment fraud and impersonation that target trust.

Children & teens

Bullying, grooming and harmful content reaching young people.

How it works

Three steps, one steady hand.

Every case is different. Our process is the same: listen carefully, act quickly, and stay with you until things feel manageable again.

Our mission

A safer internet, one person at a time.

Online Harm Help was founded in 2021 by survivors, researchers and digital rights advocates who kept hearing the same story: people being hurt online, with nowhere to turn.

We exist to change that. We provide free 1-on-1 support, build plain-language resources, and push platforms and policymakers to do better — because no one should have to navigate online harm alone.

Support our work

Every $25 funds an hour of 1-on-1 support.

We're funded entirely by donations and small grants. If our work matters to you, a one-off or monthly gift keeps the line open for the next person who needs it.
